Shade in the pyramid of combinations $c u+d v+e \boldsymbol{w}$ with $c \geq 0, d \geq 0, e \geq 0$ and $c+d+e \leq 1$. Mark the vector $\frac{1}{2}(\boldsymbol{u}+\boldsymbol{v}+\boldsymbol{w})$ as inside or outside this pyramid.

The vector $\frac{1}{2}(\boldsymbol{u}+\boldsymbol{v}+\boldsymbol{w})$ is outside the pyramid because $c+d+e=\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{2}>1$
