Suppose $(x_{1}, x_{2}) + (y_{1}, y_{2})$ is defined to be $(x_{1} + y_{2}, x_{2} + y_{1})$ . With the usual multiplication $ex = (e x_{1}, e x_{2})$ , which of the eight conditions are not satisfied?

Answers

$x + y \neq y + x$ and $x + (y + z) \neq (x + y) + z$ and $(c_{1} + c_{2}) x \neq c_{1} x + c_{2} x$ .
