(b): $y = [\begin{matrix} x \\ z \end{matrix}] = [\begin{matrix} 4 \\ 0 \\ 0 \end{matrix}] + z [\begin{matrix} - 1 \\ 0 \\ 1 \end{matrix}] .$
The second equation in part (b) removed one special solution from the nullspace.
