  • t¯ = 2 and b¯ = 9, we have C + Dt¯ = 1 + 4 2 = 9 = b¯.
  • From the equation ATAx^ = ATb, we have from page 136 that ATAx^ = [ m ti ti ti2 ] [ Ĉ D^ ] = [ bi biti ] , the first equation is + D^ ti = bi, i.e. Ĉ + D^t¯ = b¯.
