For fair coin, we have $\bar{X} = 0.5 \times 0 + 0.5 \times 1 = 0.5$ , the probability $P (X \geq 2 \bar{X}) = P (X \geq 1) = P (X = 1) = \frac{1}{2}$

From Markov’s inequality, we have with $a = 2 \bar{X}$ , $P (X \geq a) \leq \frac{\bar{X}}{a} = \frac{1}{2}$
