\begin{proof}
As in Ex. 35, we prove that $\alpha = a + b\sqrt{-2}$ is an unit if and only if $\lambda(\alpha) = 1$, i.e. $a^2+2b^2 = 1$. As $2b^2 \leq 1, b = 0$, and $a^2 = 1$. So the only units are $1$ and $-1$.
