Question

Using the SVD, prove that any matrix in $\mathbb{C}^{m 	imes n}$ is the limit of a sequence of matrices of full rank. In other words, prove that the set of full-rank matrices is a dense subset of $\mathbb{C}^{m 	imes n}$. Use the 2-norm for your proof. (The norm doesn't matter, since all norms on a finite-dimensional space are equivalent.)
