This is obvious. If $|f(y)-f(z)|<\alpha$ and $\alpha <{\alpha }^{\prime }$ clearly $|f(y)-f(z)|<{\alpha }^{\prime }$ as well. Increasing $\alpha$ only makes the condition less strict.
