1.: The equation $x_{1} (1, 1, 0) + x_{2} (1, 0, 1) + x_{3} (0, 1, 1) = 0$ has only nontrivial solution when $𝔽 = ℝ$ .
2.: When $𝔽$ has characteristic 2, we have $1 + 1 = 0$ and so $(1, 1, 0) + (1, 0, 1) + (0, 1, 1) = (0, 0, 0)$ .
