Just solve $A_{11} + A_{22} + \dots + A_{nn} = 0$ and hence ${E_{ij}}_{i \neq j} \cup {E_{ii} - E_{nn}}_{i = 1, 2, \dots n - 1}}$ is the basis, where ${E_{ij}}$ is the standard basis. And the dimension would be $n^{2} - 1$ .
