Let $T : ℝ^{2} \to ℝ^{2}$ and $T (x, y) = (y, x)$ and $U$ is the identity map from $ℝ^{2} \to ℝ^{2}$ . Then we have $N (T) = N (U) = {0}$ and $R (T) = R (U) = ℝ^{2}$ .
