1.: Let $W_{1}$ be the $xy$ -plane and $W_{2}$ be the $z$ -axis. And $(a, b, c) = (a, b, 0) + (0, 0, c)$ would be the unique representation of $W_{1} \oplus W_{2}$ .
2.: Since $(a, b, c) = (0, 0, c) + (a, b, 0)$ , we have $T (a, b, c) = (0, 0, c)$ .
3.: Since $(a, b, c) = (a - c, b, 0) + (c, 0, c)$ , we have $T (a, b, c) = (a - c, b, 0)$ .
